Oral Fixation Mints were created by a group of friends in their 20’s in 2002. My friend Jeremy was smoking a cigarette and said he couldn’t quit smoking because he had an “oral fixation” and the product name was created then and there. The founders quickly started to create a breath mint to help Jeremy quit smoking and starting a mint company seemed like the reasonable thing to do. Jeremy, Jon, and I spent a year in the chocolate factory designing a product line whose central mission was to make everyday products beautiful. We had fun every day, ignored market trends, and made a product that we would actually purchase ourselves, even if we had never seen it advertized. We stayed up late thinking of phrases, flavors, and art no one had ever seen before; it was awesome.




Several years on, this youthful dream is an incredible reality. Today Oral Fixation Mints are the highest quality breath mints you can buy. The mints are packaged in stunning minimalist brushed metal tins, reminiscent of 1920's cigarette cases and are available in 11 exotic flavors. Oral Fixation mints are made using only the finest ingredients and are protected by custom designed wax paper with images reflecting the mood and theme of each flavor.

Since 2002 residents of Hopewell, NJ have noted the aromatic scent of mint wafting from the historic Hopewell Chocolate Factory. Oral Fixation was originally based out of a renovated Chocolate Factory in Hopewell, New Jersey. Built in the late nineteenth century, the factory produced the legendary "Hopewell Dainties" for over 100 years until being converted into beautiful living/loft/work spaces in the late 1970's.
